Our Products
We currently offer five services. Research, places for discussion, memory, and the tools that grew out of them — all start from the same question: how do people come to understand one another?
Research and implementation that start from anti-scam work and rethink what it means to understand people.
A long-term research program on understanding people, starting from anti-scam work. It adopts the Buddhist taxonomy of bonnō (kleshas, the afflictions of the mind) as a coordinate system for AI, and envisions an AI device (ExPFC) that externally compensates for a prefrontal cortex that is not functioning properly.

An online bulletin board for flat discussion, without titles or rank. “Long posts welcome, questions over conclusions, records of defeat welcome.” On the “Debate with AI” board, the AI itself replies as an equal partner.

A free board for Japanese people living in Korea and the Korean and English speakers around them. Everyday questions, information on visas, housing and hospitals, finding friends, language exchange, food and travel, and giving away things you no longer need. Whatever language a post is written in, one tap translates it into the other two.
Our Mission
Starting from Bonnō × AI — research on understanding people that begins with anti-scam work — MindSeed Institute takes on the challenges people and society face in the AI era. Our approach is to adopt Buddhism’s 2,500-year-old system of introspective observation as a coordinate system for AI, and to back up decisions that too often rest on experience and intuition with structure and evidence. We publish our findings as essays, create places for discussion, and turn what we learn there back into tools. The five services we offer today each stand at one point in that cycle.
